Born in Japan and raised in the Midwest, Sala Johnson is an artist who studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. With an interest in storytelling, she uses image making and a multidisciplinary approach to explore an array of ideas. She is always seeking to work within the intersections of ecology, movement, food and spirit.
